Looking for a way to export Season Calendar to CSV/Excel

Looking for a way to export Season Calendar to CSV/Excel

I'm currently using Joomsport Pro 4.1.3. I can't upgrade to a newer version as I have customized code. In previous versions when I copy/pasted a game from the schedule (e.g.http://tournamart.com/sas-bolingbrook-jan-mar-league-schedule-2018) and pasted into any kind of text window it'd appear with the teams side-by-side as:

01-02-2018 5:30 PM Court 1 LP Boys U16B6 Chu v Roadrunners SC B2001 Premier II U17B4 Cos

but now it appears above-and-below as:

01-02-2018 5:30 PM Court 1
LP Boys U16B6 Chu
v
Roadrunners SC B2001 Premier II U17B4 Cos

That's been extremely irritating since I can no longer just copy/paste a bunch of games into an email without having to manually/tediously re-join the teams for each game into single lines, e.g. convert this which is unusable:

01-02-2018 5:30 PM Court 1
LP Boys U16B6 Chu
v
Roadrunners SC B2001 Premier II U17B4 Cos
01-02-2018 5:30 PM Court 2
Evolution 00 Red 2 U18G4 Kri
v
Rush South Premier U17G4 Deb
01-02-2018 6:15 PM Court 1
Evolution 03 Black U15B2 Jos
v
Roadrunners SC B2003 Select II U15B3 Cos
01-02-2018 6:15 PM Court 2
Evolution 03 Red 2 U16B8 Lup
v
Roadrunners SC B2002-03 Napoli U16B8 Jar

to this which is what people expect/need to see:

01-02-2018 5:30 PM Court 1 LP Boys U16B6 Chu v Roadrunners SC B2001 Premier II U17B4 Cos
01-02-2018 5:30 PM Court 2 Evolution 00 Red 2 U18G4 Kri v Rush South Premier U17G4 Deb
01-02-2018 6:15 PM Court 1 Evolution 03 Black U15B2 Jos v Roadrunners SC B2003 Select II U15B3 Cos
01-02-2018 6:15 PM Court 2 Evolution 03 Red 2 U16B8 Lup v Roadrunners SC B2002-03 Napoli U16B8 Jar

but I just discovered something worse - I can no longer copy/paste the schedule into Excel in a way that's useful!

I need that ability since I have clubs with 30+ teams each in my leagues and the club manager needs to be able to see all of their games in one location to arrange coaches to be present. In the past they'd just copy/paste the schedule into Excel then sort by team name to find all the teams in their club. Now with the teams not appearing on the same line as the date/time they can't do that.

I've tried all manner of browsers, printing to PDF and then converting that to Excel, etc. but nothing works.

Do you have any ideas on how I can get back the ability to just see the schedule in a way that I can copy/paste it into excel or export it as a CSV or anything else that'll give me on a copy/paste games formatted as:

01-02-2018 5:30 PM Court 1 LP Boys U16B6 Chu v Roadrunners SC B2001 Premier II U17B4 Cos

instead of:

01-02-2018 5:30 PM Court 1
LP Boys U16B6 Chu
v
Roadrunners SC B2001 Premier II U17B4 Cos

Re: Looking for a way to export Season Calendar to CSV/Excel

Hi Ed,

All the normal methods do not work, but there is a quick way to get round it by 'double copying' the text you need before pasting it into notepad.

Take the following steps:

1. Copy the text you need
2. Open a new window tab in your browser
3. Paste the text into the top of the window tab, but do NOT hit enter
4. Copy the text again from the window tab (it is all one line)
5. Paste into notepad (it will appear as one continuous wrap around line of text)
6. Click on Return where each line should end, moving the remaining text down to the next line
7. Import the notepad file into excel or copy the text into your email

I tested it will our own calendar of matches and it is a very quick way to get everything in a line by line layout.

Hopefully it will work for you too.
